Implementing Newsletter Module in Drupal
In drupal, there are modules which can be used to send newsletters to subscribers. Simple news is a module in drupal to send newsletter. Download the simplenews module here Download
Go to sites >> all >> modules and paste the module. Go to your drupal site and enable the newly created module. Navigate to People >> Permission and grant the access. Create a content type for newsletter and under Publishing options check for "Use as simplenews newsletter" and finally hit save content type.
Now lets add newsletter category. Go to configuration >> web services >> newsletter and add newsletter category
Let us create newsletter for simplenews.
Navigate to content >> add content >> newsletter
Give the title for your newsletter and add your news.
Select newsletter category and save. By now you have a newsletter to send
If you click on the Newsletter tab you will get this
Finally click on submit and you will get the newsletter for the test address which you have given.
